The $10 Kmart coffee table hack that's going viral!

Shoppers are going crazy for the bargain!

Are you ever sitting on the couch, enjoying a cuppa, but you have nowhere to set it down? You might have a coffee table in front of you, but that requires too much effort as you'll have sit up every time you want a sip.

But now, a nifty Kmart shopper has invented a creative solution that guarantees the perfect drink holder to use while you're watching your favourite show.

This savvy Kmart-er took to the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook Page to share her creation. She revealed her "tray that won't slip from the arm of the couch," which she made using a surprising Kmart buy.

Her hack utilises Kmart's Wood Wide Serve Stand, a little mini table that is usually used to present entrees when entertaining. The Kmart mum discovered that it is also the perfect size to sit over the arm of the couch, providing the perfect mobile surface for your beverage to rest.

By moving the legs of the stand with a drill, she managed to custom-fit the table to be secure over the arm of the sofa.

"I saw this hack a few months ago - I'm sorry I can't remember who did it! But I'm really pleased with the $10 tray/stand. I unscrewed the legs and repositioned them, and now have a tray that won't slip from the arm of the couch," said the poster, Joanna.

The fellow Kmart fans were very excited about the hack. Members were tagging each other and commenting that they couldn't believe there's such a simple little answer to a common problem.

"Love this idea. Oh no might have to go to Kmart again lol," wrote one Kmart Mum, while another added: "Thanks so much for sharing this! They are about $60 to buy, especially for that purpose."
