The Wyndham Midtown 45 in New York knows that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!
John Favreau's festive comedy, Elf, about Buddy, an orphaned baby, taken in by toy-making North Pole elves, is one of the most beloved Christmas movies of all time. And now, thanks to the Wyndham Midtown 45, in New York City, you can now live your Buddy the Elf Christmas fantasy.
For the month of December, the hotel is offering a one bedroom suite that is lavishly decked with paper snowflakes and popcorn strands, just like Santa's grotto in Gimbles. In the living room, there is a giant toy solider and the bedroom features an entire wall made of presents.
Noah Brodsky, chief brand officer for Wyndham Destinations says: "Every detail of this Elf-inspired suite was designed to put families in awe from the moment they walk in."
"Visiting New York City during the holidays is at the top of many travellers' bucket lists. We think there's no better way to do it than to get families immersed into Buddy the Elf's whimsical Christmas world."
The suite also features a kitchen which is fully stocked with what Buddy calls "the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.” Don't forget to prepare Buddy's favourite breakfast: spaghetti with marshmallows, M&Ms, Pop Tarts and chocolate sauce, washed down with two litres of Coke.
For $399 USD per night, it's not cheap, but you'll feel like a human raised by elves, who travelled through the Candy Cane forest. So, Don't be a cotton-headed ninny muggins! Live your Christmas truth!
