Even if you haven't visited a Sizzler in years, the memories of their amazing cheese bread and unlimited dessert toppings probably sparks a sense of nostalgia deep inside your soul.
As the final Sizzler restaurants begin to close up all over the country, perhaps the biggest and best secret has been revealed by the restaurant's parent company, Collins Foods - the secret recipe for their amazing, iconic Cheese Bread.
Here it is:
- Butter or margarine
- Kraft Parmesan Cheese
- Thick white bread
- In a bowl, mix equal parts butter or margarine with the parmesan cheese to create a paste.
- Spread the paste on one side of the bread.
- Fry the bread paste side down over a medium heat until golden brown while resting a flat plate or lid on top so the bread steams.
