Robert Irwin has revealed he had a "massive crash" on his mountain bike that landed him in hospital.
The 16-year-old son of Steve and Terri Irwin posted a photo of himself on Instagram showing bloody cuts to his face, after a really nasty accident.
The teenager also admitted that he had just recovered from an operation on his teeth just before his crash.
"Wisdom teeth healed just in time for a massive crash on my mountain bike that resulted in a separated shoulder," he wrote on the post, which showed him in his famous Australia Zoo khaki uniform complete with blood stains.
But despite the cuts and bruises to his face, Robert appeared to be in good spirits, despite the painful shoulder injury.
Within minutes, his celebrity friends, were quick to send their well-wishes.
"Because you're not hardcore unless you live hardcore," joked Rove McManus.
While mum-of-two and TV host Amanda Keller wrote, "Your poor Mum."
Blue Wiggle Anthony Field added, "Ouch, get well mate."
The Sunshine Coast Daily reported Robert was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya after coming off his bike about 11am on Saturday, May 30, leaving fans questionning is he was OK.
Earlier this week, Robert had announced the arrival of Australia Zoo's latest bird, "Marshmellow the chicken."
Posting a touching photo of himself with the chook, the wildlife photographer who has already graduated High School early wrote, "Without a doubt one of the sweetest chooks we've ever had, always flying up onto my shoulder for a bit of love."
