With beauty salons still shut down, people on social media are taking their brows into their own hands!
Video-based social media platform, Tiktok, is home to endless tips and tricks. From how to make Krispy Kremes at home to how to get worms out of your strawberries, you'll find a plethora of viral information.
Now, there is a new clever hack taking the internet by storm: Tinting your eyebrows using an unorthodox yet possibly genius method - fake tan.
Hey, desperate times, right? That said, the results are not what you might think. There is not an orange brow in sight.
One Tiktok-er, Chanelle, shows her followers her tan tinting process. She applies the product in the direction of growth with a small angled brush and leaves it on for 3 hours, as per the brand's recommended development time.
Chanelle then made a follow-up video, showing her before and after of fake tan brow tinting - and the results are pretty good. She removes the excess tan with some micellar water and brushes her brows into place.
The trend has taken off on social media, with Chanelle's two instructional videos receiving 1.5 million views on the platform, with over 100,000 likes.

If you're interested in tinting your brows with tan, then stick to the preferred brand that you use for your body, so you know how it will naturally develop on your skin.
If you're not a regular tanner, do not go more than two shades deeper than your natural untanned tone. Always try a test patch - not on your face.
