The Father Of The Bride cast is having a reunion!

Mum, Dad, we're getting a reunion!

Fans of the iconic 90s film Father of the Bride are in for a treat as Netflix has confirmed the comedy is getting its own reunion.

The original movie was released in cinemas in 1991, starring Steve Martin as George Banks, the dad of bride Annie, (played by Kimberly Williams-Paisley) who struggles to let his little girl go.

According to a short teaser video posted y the streaming service, the reunion which will be recorded in the form of a video call.

 

 

At this stage, it's not known if fellow cast mates Diane Keaton (who played mum, Nina Banks) and the fabulous wedding planner Franck Eggelhoffer (played by Martin Short), and Kimberly Williams will join the reunion.

However, the TV special is set to benefit World Central Kitchen, a charity which focusses on feeding people amid times of crisis, such as natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Father Of The Bride producer Nancy Meyers first teased the idea of a reunion two weeks ago by taking to Instagram to share a promotional photo from the original film.
