A mum celebrated her daughter's fourth birthday in a very unique way, by throwing her an ALDI-themed birthday party, as she's absolutely "obsessed" with supermarket.
Mum Meaghan Singleton threw little Saylor the big bash because she knows just how much Saylor loves going to ALDI every day.
Every time they went to buy food for the family, the mum had plenty of time to look for ideas around her local store and take photos so she could plan the perfect ALDI-party.
“I got a lot of my ideas while on my almost daily stops to ALDI. I walked around the store collecting empty boxes, googled ALDI signs I could relate to Saylor,” explained Meghan.
Posting the photos on Facebook, Meaghan revealed that the ALDI-themed birthday party was an extravagant event, even including ALDI posters (that really look like actual signage in the store) to cookies shaped like the coins you need to get a shopping trolley.
Meaghan even made Saylor her own ALDI uniform to wear on the big day and when she wore it her local store in South Carolina in the US, staff let her sit at the check-out.
The mum and daughter had professional pictures taken in Aldi’s “aisle of surprise”, where the store stocks its famous miscellaneous products.
“Since Saylor could sit in a shopping cart, she's been coming with me. If I say we are going to the store, the first words out of her mouth are, 'Aldi, right?' She loves going on the hunt for deals with me."
Meaghan added: “It was so great seeing all the employees love that she loves Aldi as much as they do."
