She's officially a British national treasure!
It has been announced that the queen of cakes will be made a dame in the Queen's birthday honours list.
Twice a year, the Queen releases her list of deserving British people that will be honoured - once to celebrate her official birthday and again to mark the new year.
Mary Berry captured the heart of the public as a judge on The Great British Bake Off, which she hosted for six years alongside Paul Hollywood.
The baking legend said that she is "overwhelmed" by the honour of damehood, but just feels "lucky" that she has had the opportunity to share and teach her love of cooking on such a large scale.
“I am absolutely overwhelmed to receive this great honour,” she said.
“For most of my life, I have been lucky enough to follow my passion to teach cookery through books and the media.”
The 85-year-old also explained how she wished that she could share the exciting news with her late parents and brothers, who would be surprised to learn of her amazing success.
"My only achievement at school was just one O-level in cookery,” Mary joked.
"However, I am sure they are looking down and smiling. I will celebrate with my husband and family very soon,” she added.
