Kmart hack: Shopper shares surprising use for Kmart shot glass

Talk about hitting two birds with one stone!

There's no doubt about it, Kmart is a store that has brought us loads of joy over the years. In between providing the handy interior design hacks and the coveted air-fyer, we thought the store's convenience and affordabliity couldn't get better - but we were wrong.

It appears one Kmart shopper has shared the ultimate kitchen hack - and it will only set you back $1.50.

Taking to Facebook group Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia, Sarah Elmir shared a few snaps of the alcohol shot glasses, which happen to have measuring lines marked on the glass, meaning it could double as a measuring glass, too.

"How handy and cute is this glass mini measuring cup so many uses, all in one, Teaspoon, Tablespoon, Millilitres," she wrote on the page.

And she wasn't the only shopper who was impressed with this affordable product, with one commenting: "I love mine, it's great."

"Wow what a great idea, This would be perfect for when I am cooking," a second wrote.

"Great for those nights you need panadol and can’t find the syringe thingy! Thanks for the update," another added.

Others found humour in the post about the versatile shot glasses, with one writing: "Definitely not going to be used for teaspoon measurements. More like the tequilla type!"

Some also advised that you should not put it in the dishwasher as the markings have come off in the past.

Well, we'll note that down! What would you use this for? Let us know on LifeStyle's Facebook and Instagram page.
