Goggleboxer Di has some celbrating to sdo - as she's been awarded an Order of Australia Medal for her Service to the Visual Arts.

"Huge congratulations to our very own Di who was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for Service to the Visual Arts in today's Queen's Birthday Honours list," the caption on Gogglebox's official instagram said.

This is a joyous occasion for the Indigenous art dealer, who has had some down time of late.

As previously reported on LifeStyle, Di and her husband Mick were stepping away from filming the popular show, in a bid to self-isolate amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

"It's only because of our age," Di said in April. "Gogglebox is still going on, but because we're in our 70s, we're technically at higher risk. But hello, realistically, Mick and I are probably healthier than people half our age!"

"Even more than a lot of 50-year-olds," Mick added. "We definitely feel discriminated against," he quipped.

However, the couple were ok with skipping a bit of MAFS for a while "I'm very, very relieved," Di said. "The other the plus is, there's no football so we don't have to watch that on TV, either."

"There's a lot of people that will miss Survivor, MAFS, MKR, I've forgotten the acronyms for the others," Mick noted. "But I don't think we're going to lose a lot of sleep over it."

We're glad they didn't and hope to see them back on their couches soon!
