Congratulations to the loved-up Goggleboxer!
For some people, dating during the Coronavius isolation period was difficult, but for Goggleboxer Isabelle Silbery, it was perfect timing to find her prince charming.
Speaking to LifeStyle, the writer reveals she and partner Alex Richards have, "been dating for five months which actually feels like 10 in COVID time."
Although the couple had to isolate together, Isabelle is certain that the experience was more rewarding and helped elevate their relationship in a speedier fashion.
"Dating during COVID has definitely cemented our bond faster than if we were dating outside of a pandemic," she explained.
"It's been a strange start to the relationship; meeting friends and family on zoom, working from home together and even though we took it as a fun experiment at the start."
Things are doing so well, the gorgeous Goggleboxer confirmed she and Alex are living together.
"We've now officially moved in together and grown closer every day. It's really forced me to take a leap of faith, open my heart and fall in love again."
So, while we adore Alex and can tell Isabelle looks super thrilled in her Instagram snaps - does Nana Silbery approve?
"Yes she has finally met him after only getting a glimpse of him on zoom for the first few months. She highly approves and even though he is younger than me, she sees how old his soul is and how he makes me happy."
Too sweet! In fact, the family spent some quality time together in June when lockdown laws were lifted across the country.
Now that the state of Victoria has commenced a second round of stage three lockdown, Isabelle said she's using the time wisely to prioritise facets of her life.
"It's been a bit of a set back but a good time to re-focus on what's important... Working on various social impact projects, reading good books, binge watching TV series, making cubby houses, drinking and eating too much and staying in bed with my boyfriend until the afternoon. Who can complain?"
Indeed, her positive nature would be rubbing off on her 5-year-old son.
Asked how she's managing with homeschooling, the mum-of-one says she's taking a relaxed approach.
"My son is only a preppy so homeschooling is quite challenging to say the least. I try to have fun with him, be gentle on myself and take him outside as much as I can to help burn all that little boy energy.
"I think keeping the same routine as much as possible ie getting his school uniform on and moving into a 'working' area of the house is helpful and talking through his emotions after a meltdown...(because let's face it- there's no avoiding them!)"
Spoken like a true mother!
