The mother-of-two opens up about living in Melbourne during the pandemic and how it's affected her family.
Goggleboxer Faye has had a difficult few years after losing her partner Tony to pancreatic cancer. But 2020, was supposed to be the year she focussed on herself and sadly, due to the coronavirus pandemic - she's had a few challenges along the way.
"This year was going to be about me being at peace with myself and trying to find a routine. Because for the past few years my routine included being in and out of hopsital."
The thing is, Faye, who has two adult sons, says she was hoping to gear up for her son's nuptials, a day all parents look forward to seeing.
"My eldest son was supposed to be getting married in February next year," she explained.
"But unfortunately with coronavirus and the lockdown that's hit us, they told me they've postponed it for another year. I'm so upset because they've been together for about eight years now.
"At about the two-year mark of their relationship, I kept saying to my son Georgie, 'Ask her to marry you!'"
"I'm just hanging out for grandkids!" she continued.
And while grandkids are a little out of reach at this stage, she's still very much counting her blessings.
"My boys are older and they live in the same area. Thank goodness for great friends who call, I've been on the phone to them and also filling my time by facetiming my parents."
And Faye isn't the only Goggleboxer who has been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. As previously reported on LifeStyle, Tim and his fiance have also had to put their wedding on hold.
While speaking to LifeStyle, Gogglebox Australia's Tim revealed he and partner Mark have had to put their wedding on hold, too.
"COVID 19 has completely stuffed it up, we had intentions of getting hitched towards the end of this year after season 12," Tim said.
"Growing up as a little gay asian boy - I always wanted the big fancy wedding. And when my partner and I visited New York for the first time years ago, we fell in love with the city," he explained.
"We wanted to get married in our favourite city."
However, according to his sister and couchmate Leanne, "He didn't just want to get married in New York, he had three wedding locations planned."
Tim says that although he's excited to walk down the aisle and seal the deal, he's grateful for the health of his loved ones.
