Donna Hay's pantry staple is probably already safely tucked away on your shelf!
If you have ever wondered what Donna Hay really holds dear to her heart when cooking, she revealed all to LifeStyle.
Unsurprisingly, when it comes to having a stand out pantry favourite, Donna finds it a tough question to answer. But, she does settle on one pantry classic.
"Well, Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is great," she decides. "I love it because it's such a great product and it's full of antioxidants."
Donna adds that it's health benefits also make this oil stand out for her and the fact that you can use it for a variety of different things.
"It's so much better for you then all the highly processed alternatives and it is so versatile," she says. "You can buy the light one to the robust one and it's got so many different uses."
Despite popular belief, Donna also says that you can in fact deep fry with olive oil. "It's great to deep fry in and stir fry with, or drizzle over a salad, so it's definitely my choice," she tells.
Apart from Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Donna says she also can't go past fresh items such as lemons and herbs. "I'm all about things that really bring a dish to life," she adds.
