This will give you goosebumps.
Bindi Irwin is no doubt a daddy's girl through and through. The Wildlife Warrior who married her soulmate Chandler Powell in March, has taken to Instagram to share a heart-warming connection her husband has with her late father.
"This makes my heart so happy. My sweetheart husband has watched Dad’s documentaries since he was little," she began her post.
"To find Crocodile Hunter DVDs, visit the link in my bio. We ship worldwide and funds raised support the ongoing care of our beautiful animals @AustraliaZoo."
In two snaps shared on her Instagram, Chandler appears to be holding a Crocodile Hunter DVD in hand, both as a child and a grown man. If this doesn't tug at the heartstrings, we don't know what will.
Chandler not only proved he was a fan of Bindi's dad, but the two also paid tribute to him during their surprise wedding at Australia Zoo - by displaying an image of him on screen behind them as they shared their first dance as husband and wife.
The couple, who became engaged in July 2019, changed everything they had planned for over a year, bringing their celebration forward to comply with strict Covid-19 Government restrictions – which now allow no more than five people at a wedding.
But they did not let that stop them from celebrating their love - with those near and far.
Following the ceremony, Bindi's baby brother Robert Irwin dedicated an Instagram post to his sister and Chandler - alongside a wedding snap of the bride and groom.
"This is a day that we will never forget. Bindi and Chandler, words cannot describe how happy and proud I am that today you started your married life and celebrated love during a difficult time for our world," he began his post.
"And I was beyond honoured to get to walk Bindi down the aisle today. Even though all of your wedding plans had to change at the last minute to keep everyone safe and healthy, it truly was an emotional and beautifully spontaneous day."
He also mentioned their late father, in an emotional display of affection.
"I know that Dad was with us, and we are all so delighted for your future as husband and wife. I love you both."
We're sure Steve would approve of Chandler, congratulations to the newlyweds!
