The 31-year-old shared shocking images of her bruised face.
Famous Australian model, Robyn Lawley, gave her social media followers a frank look into her life, suffering from an aggressive autoimmune disease.
She posted a graphic image of her black eye and bruised face to Instagram, explaining in the caption that she was "post another seizure".
The Sports Illustrated star sustained the injuries during a neurological episode resulting from an autoimmune disease called systemic lupus erythematosus. More commonly known as lupus, it can cause seizures in some sufferers. Robyn was diagnosed in 2015.
Although clearly painful, the model remained positive, joking about her shocking appearance. On social media, she highlighted her eye, which was bright red - possibly bleeding internally - as her "lovely satan eye".
She followed up with two additional images, which seems to show the progression of healing. You can see the bold bruising and redness in the eye fading away.
The Aussie model's followers provided an outpouring of support, expressing their appreciation for Robyn after she shared her private health struggle.
