An Italian nonna is live-streaming pasta making classes to distract people from Coronavirus pandemic

Because EVERYTHING is better with pasta!

During an uncertain time, people around the globe are worried about the coronavirus pandemic - but one Italian grandmother is taking it upon herself to give them a much-welcomed distraction.

That distraction comes in the form of fresh pasta sheets, home-made tomato sauce and cheesey goodness. That's right, a nonna is livestreaming something we can ALL do with ALL the extra time we have following lockdown laws.

Nonna Nerina, who is 84-years-old resides in a town outside Rome and she is ready to share her cullinary wisdom and generations-old recipes with the world.

Prior to the pandemic, Nerina hosted pasta-cooking classes in her local town, but due to the strict containment measures in Italy – the current epicentre of coronavirus – she’s out of business.

Until the country restabilises, she's live-streaming classes on Saturdays and Sundays.
