Talk about a big, fat dose of adorable!
As if you didn't love this song already, 'Part of Your World' from Disney's The Little Mermaid just got a lot cuter.
Sure, Ariel the mermaid (originally voiced by a woman named Jodi Benson) was pretty cute. She was basically the original "Manic Pixie Dream Girl", with her disproportionately large eyes and the fork she used as a hairbrush. But today, there's a new little princess giving Ariel a run for her money - three-year-old Claire Ryann Crosby from the United States.
According to Claire's father David, he made the film after noticing his daughter singing the song in public.
"A few months ago, I was paying for an oil change, and when I turned around (Claire) was singing 'Little Mermaid' in the lobby while everyone had their phones out recording her," he told a local news outlet.
Not only does little Claire nail the little inflections of the Disney princess, but she also knew all the lyrics off by heart.
"Somehow, she learned to speak and enunciate really well at such a young age, and I think that has made it easier for her to hear and understand the words so that she could memorize them," David said.
