The touching moment a colourblind man sees colour for the first time, has gone viral.
Warning: this is a tear-jerker. A dad from the US has broken down in tears after wearing a special pair of 'EnChroma' glasses, which gave him the ability to see the colour of his children's eyes, for the first time.
A present from his sister, Ms Empey, the glasses were purchased after her online fundraising efforts. The glasses, retailing at $350 US ($437 AUS), block out a thin spectrum of light, which improve's the wearers ability to recognise the colours red and green.
Although they're not a permanent fix for the colourblind, they do help those having difficulty viewing the two colours.
