This story of a little girl's birthday party is breaking hearts.
The internet is reaching out to a six-year-old girl after her friends failed to turn up to her birthday party.
Kelsey Patton, 18, tweeted a photo of her little sister searching for her party guests, alongside the only girl who showed up, Jayla.
"My little sisters birthday party is today & only one girl showed up," Kelsey tweeted. "I feel so bad, she's only 6 so she doesn't understand but [sad face]."

Despite receiving a number of RSVPs, Jayla was the only girl to actually attend Kinley's Disney Princess themed party.
According to BuzzFeed, Kinley's mum hired a space at a bowling alley, bought a Disney cake and even made party gifts for the girls who said they were coming. After waiting for half an hour, Kinley's mum reportedly told her daughter the other girls were all sick.
now that it's over she's getting sad & asking why her other friends didn't come pic.twitter.com/xpeAMlE0O3— kelsey (@dirtyjauregui) February 25, 2017
Contributing to somewhat of a happy ending, Kelsey's original tweet has now been retweeted over 12,000 times, and people from all over the world are sending Kinley birthday wishes. Strangers are even campaigning for Ellen DeGeneres to host a new birthday party for Kinley via the hashtag #KinleyOnEllen.
As for Kinley and Jayla, the new best friends ended up sending off the day with some mini golf. Happy birthday, Kinley!
