If you are a keen Pinterest user, you'll know its a hotbed of ideas, inspiration and hacks that can help you to exceed a particular goal in your life. If you're not, a lot of users 'pin' items to boards to help them curate a particular look or gather ideas to implement in their own lives.

If you're renovating your home, you can use it for design or decor inspiration. If you're planning on getting married or hosting an event, you'll find spades of how-tos, tips and aesthetically-pleasing pictures to help you decide what you'd like to create yourself.

52-week money saving challenge

You may have seen this challenge do the rounds on social media, but there's a reason why this is so widely-shared. Pinterest reported searches for '52 week money challenge' were up 295 per cent in January! Each week you must have an incremental amount of money (starting with just $4 a week) and by the end of the year you'll have over $5,500. Amazing!

If that's too much of a financial commitment, you can do the same plan, but vary the amounts, as seen below. This will garner you over $1,000 in a year.

35-day holiday savings challenge

If you're after a savings plan that yields fast results in a short amount of time, this challenge is perfect for you. Following this pin, you can expect to save $630 in just over a month. Ideal for last-minute saving, holidays or even one to keep under your hat for Christmas.

Monthly budget planner

If you need a household budget overhaul, why not start breaking down your spending with an organised and attractive planner? Print one of these at the beginning of every month and stick it somewhere prominent, before filling in all your outgoings and income. Hopefully, these pretty boxes should keep you in check!
