How to Warm up Your Winter Sex Life

Winter has well and truly arrived in Australia, and some parts of the country are experiencing cold snaps that make us thankful for pyjamas and electric blankets.

At this time of year, it's not uncommon for libidos to drop and for partners to become a little less intimate. Luckily, there are a few things you can do to heat up your winter sex life in order to ensure that you and you are partner stay close during the winter months.

After you have tried these bedroom ideas, you might find yourself dreading the arrival of summer!

Have a sensual bath or shower

If the bedroom is a bit too chilly for you to be stripping down, why not try taking things to the bathroom and having a sensual bath or shower?

Feel free to use soaps and bubble baths in order to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Be careful however, as you will want to avoid slipping over or bumping your head on any nearby nozzles or taps!

Keep it intimate

With the air temperature dropping, you might need to put those creative positions on the backburner for a while and instead resort to some more traditional methods.

The missionary position is a bit of an old classic, but it is perfect for getting up close to your partner and sharing their body heat. Remember, intimacy is the key during these winter months.

Crank up the fireplace

If you are lucky enough to have an indoor fireplace, then why not try laying down a comfortable blanket and cuddling up with your partner, illuminated by the lighting of the crackling flames?

There aren't many things more sensual and relaxing than listening to the patter of raindrops outside, while you get close to a loved one indoors where it is dry, safe and warm.
