Did you love watching Angie & Yvie on Gogglebox Australia as much as us? The pair are in the spotlight now for a completely different reason, and it's all in the name of charity.
Angie Kent and Yvie Jones live with their housemate Tom Hancock, who has Down Syndrome and Type One Diabetes. The Gogglebox duo are raising funds to help Tom with his day-to-day living, and integration into the wider community.
Last year, Angie produced and directed her first documentary, 'Tom's Plan'. Now this year having received subsidy funding, Angie will be able to turn her short film into a feature length documentary! 'Tom's Plan' will look at creative ways of alternative housing for people with a disability.
"Let's help people like beautiful housemate Tom and allow them the opportunity to live independently in the community just as we do," Angie exclaims.
