How the '4 Ingredients' author lost 15kg

The successful author releases a new cookbook - and the secret to her weight loss.

Kim McCosker became a household name when she released the 4 Ingredients cook books. The books were the key for many busy people struggling to spare the time for weekday meals. 

With every recipe needing just four ingredients or less, her books became a kitchen staple for many Aussie families. 

Now, Kim reveals her next venture and personal weight loss success.

Kim has now released a new book that's focused on the ketogenic diet - think high-fat, low-carb foods.

What's more, the successful author is loving her words as she put the keto diet to the test. "At the end of two weeks [I] had dropped 2.5kg and had given birth to 4 Ingredients Keto," she told A Current Affair. All up Kim has now lost 15 kilograms.

all this started with Kim committing to a 4-week keto diet challenge. "I'm on a mission to whip my body into shape," she wrote on her website. "To do this, I have committed to a 4-week keto diet. This is my favourite kind of diet - low carb, high fat and protein."

The 4 Ingredients Keto cookbook offers over 70 recipes accompanied by a complete nutritional table.
