Selling Houses Australia

'We're so excited to be coming back!' Andrew Winter reveals what's happening with Selling Houses Australia

For the last 13 years Selling Houses Australia has been one of the country's most popular series.

Millions of viewers have tuned in to watch Andrew Winter, Shaynna Blaze and Charlie Albone transform homes around the country.

And when we said farewell to Season 13 just weeks ago, many fans were devastated to hear that Charlie Albone was moving on so he could spend more time with his young family.

But now, in an exclusive interview with, Andrew has revealed that he thinks when the show returns for Season 14, it will surpass the rest!

"We're so excited to be coming back," he tells LifeStyle from his home on the Gold Coast. "I know a lot of people are asking if we are, but we shall.

"The ratings this year were amazing and that's because we had wonderful homeowners with really great stories."

"What I love is that we feature an array of properties, and I know people say why would you help someone who has a $3million home, but why not? It's these diverse challenges that really make the show so different."

"Each home and each set of homeowners are completely different and they have different reasons why they can't sell. It would be boring if we just did the same old thing every single week!"

"I love the show and I can't wait to get started on the next season. Obviously we're having to wait and see what happens with the coronavirus, especially in Victoria, right now but when the time's right. We will be back."

And - the big question - can he update us on the replacement for gardening guru Charlie?

"We're searching hard for a new and talented talent to join us," he admits. "We want someone who is enthusiastic, loves a challenge and has a passion for landscaping that you can't fake."

“Yes, I’ll miss Charlie," he adds. "But it will be great getting to know someone else and working with them."

And, in very exciting news, he would love to see Charlie visit the crew once in a while!

"The thing is, Charlie left with such good feeling and we are all such great friends, who knows if he will be back for a guest appearance in the future. Never say never!"

At the moment Andrew is focusing on another LifeStyle show Love It Or List It Australia which he hosts with Neale Whitaker.

"I'd love to tell you that we were filming as normal," he says."But filming is on pause right now just now because the crew can't travel easily and nor can Neale, so we have started and we've probably filmed half the season but it's a bit here and a bit there," he reveals.

"It's really frustrating because I just want to get going," he laughs. "But as I am half way through building my new family home on the Gold Coast, it gives me the chance to actually be here and do that But I do miss working as normal."
