Sydney launches ‘hard-to-kill’ plant delivery service

Wannabe plant-parents: this is your calling.

It can be hard to becom invested in indoor plants - especially when they keep dying all the time. (Only a little bit your fault...) And it can be confusing choosing the right ones, not to mention awkwardly transporting them!

Thankfully, there is now an indoor plant delivery service in Sydney that specialises in hard-to-kill plants.

Felicity Keep from Plant Girl is behind the genius idea, taking personalised orders from customers who need a bit of help with their indoor planting game.

As well as stocking mainly kill-proof plants, the Marrickville nursery offers a service which allows customers to make their own sturdy plant creations.

Customers can mix-and-match any combo of plant and pot in hopes it will make its owners more invested in the plant. Essentially, matching plants to its new plant parents.

The current plant babies include snake plants, zanzibar gems, dragon tails and boston ferns, all of which land in the 'low maintenance' category.

Along with adopting your plant, you can choose a personalised pot for it to live in - ranging from metallic to vibrant turquoise and pink, and you can also buy some indoor plant food to give your plant baby a good start in life.

The best part is, Plant Girl offers same-day-delivery to locations within a 10km radius of its Marrickville shop - which spans all of the inner west, CBD, plus a good part of the eastern suburbs and a bit of North Sydney and the lower north shore.

So, make some room and get adopting/shopping!
