Skin care for older women

I find I have rough patches on my face and also a large scar on my lip. Is there anything I can do to help this.

Answered Monday 10 February 2014

Hi Toni. Rough patches could be due to a build up of dry skin or a more serious skin condition or allergy. It may be best to get this diagnosed by a professional before undertaking in any exfoliation and topical ingredients that may exacerbate it. If you can't get to a GP, simply ask your pharmacist who will steer you in the right direction to a smoother complexion!
