Hop into the Easter season with a fun crafternoon spent making these quick and simple treat bags.
If you're hosting a family gathering or Easter egg hunt, these bags could make wonderful accessories for all involved.
The best part about these bags is they can be made from items you've already got at home, and they're the perfect activity to occupy the kids in the holidays leading up to the long weekend.
What you'll need
- Paper bag
- Coloured markers (pink, black)
- Easter eggs
- Shredded paper (optional: to fill out the bags)
Start by drawing with a pencil some bunny ears at the top of the paper bag. Draw ears 3cms in from the top side of the paper bag.
Draw two curved lines for the eyes, down stroke lines under each for the eyelashes. Don’t forget to add a little bunny nose, three pencil lines on each side of the nose for the whiskers.
Cut around the bunny ears that you have drawn at the top of the paper bag with scissors. Your bag should now look more like a bunny.
Finish decorating your bag by using the black and pink markers to draw over your bunny face pencil features. Use black marker for the eyes and whiskers and a pink marker for the nose, rosy cheeks and the centre of the ears.
For added decoration, you could fill the bottom of the bag with shredded paper or confetti to make a nest for the Easter eggs, otherwise, all that is left is to fill your cute bunny treat bags with Easter eggs. Enjoy!
