Parents are turning their kids trampolines into isolation cubbies for adults!

If your children aren't playing on their trampoline any more and you're wondering what to do with it, here's an idea that's gaining momentum all over the world.

Parents are transforming old trampolines into comfy backyard cubbies for themselves instead!

Posting on Facebook, one DIY fan revealed, "Don't throw away your old trampoline, it can always serve - beautiful space."

All you need is some old curtains, a few fairy lights, cushions, doonas and throws and you have a stylish retreat to enjoy the last few warm evenings before it starts to get cold.

Tipped as the perfect relaxation area for mum and dad or a teen space to watch movies and catch up on Tik Tok, it's a cheap and isolation-friendly way to feel like you have an extra room!

One clever dad even turned the trampoline upside down, attached fairy lights to the 'roof', just so his kids could dance away underneath.

Parents all over the world have gone crazy for the idea, which racked up more than 8000 comments and 1,500 shares.

Tagging their friends and partners in the post, they said: "project for u", "if you get bored in the lockdown" and "look what you could make".

One mum even described it as the "the perfect way to escape the kids in quarantine"

One question though, what happens if it rains?!
