Forget magic sponges, try a plastic bag!
An Aussie mum has gone viral with her unusual shower screen cleaning hack. She claims it can completely transform the glass panels with no scrubbing!
In place of traditional shower cleaners, or even a Magic Sponge, she uses a simple squirt of Jif Cream Cleaner directly on to the shower screen. To wipe it, she forgoes all usual methods and uses a plastic bag, slipped over her hand to wipe away dirt and grime.
The hack was posted to the Mums Who Clean Facebook group, where it garnered a lot of attention and praise.
The post reads: "So I was told about this hack to clean shower screens and decided to try myself. OMG!! So, sprinkle some jiff onto your screens and get a plastic bag, yes you heard that right, wear it like a glove and wash your screens," she advises.
"OMG. IT WORKS. it keeps it clean for soooo long! And it is so easy. No scrubbing needed and nothing else to clean it with."
She concludes: "Try it and thank me later!"
The bizarre bathroom cleaning hack gathered many comments from other members of the group, who were surprised that there was such a simple solution to the nagging problem of shower screen scum.
"I'm definitely trying this!" said one cleaning mum.
Another fellow Jif fan said: "I use Jif all the time but will use a plastic bag and see what that does."
