Luxury Inspiration

Shannon talks to two experts - David Clark, editor of Vogue Living and Karen McCartney, editor of InsideOut Magazine, about how luxurious furnishings are creeping back into minimalist interiors. Achieving this look of luxury is all about softening the cold hard lines of minimalism and to do that we need to have layers.

Layer 1

Start with your clean-lined modern furniture. It's in a neutral palette and makes for a great base to work from.

Layer 2

Rugs, coffee tables and artworks add some colour and texture which work to give the space a bit of depth.

Layer 3

Add your cushions, lamps, decorative pieces and momentos. Isn't it great to see the personal touches getting a look-in in our homes again!?
