Kmart’s sustainable kitchenware causing an online craze

Save on money and the earth.

Kmart is upping the ante in their kitchenware department with the arrival of their latest release - a new collection of chic, sustainable and eco-conscious kitchenware.

The collection extends from sandwich bags to food storage, all with a cleaner and more efficient approach.

Away with the single-use ziplock bags and hello to Kmart's new set of three reusable snack pack pouches. The BPA-free ziplock bags are a cool addition to your lunch time packaging, patterned in pale blue and grey stripes, available in a medium (150g) for $4 and large (250g) for $5.

The most exciting new addition to Kmart's kitchenware range are the silicone covers - the perfect cling wrap swap for bowls or vegetables and fruits cut open.

Arriving in a set of six for $5 or four for $3, these green and yellow lifesavers are what's needed to keep open food contained and fresh, without costing the environment.

The third highly anticipated arrival are the uber-chic resusable cotton bags. The woven net bag is perfect for grocery shopping while the square drawstring bags are designed to store vegetables, grains or any loose items in your pantry.

With more to come, there's plenty to get excited about.
