'Staying Grounded' is a podcast for those who are new to the world of home-gardening, as well as people for whom plants are a passion.
Calling all crazy plant ladies, Bunnings has launched a seven-episode podcast series titled Staying Grounded. It aims to provide you with the information and support to keep the plants you bought during isolation alive, no matter your gardening experience level.
The podcast website states that it is for all levels of expertise and all types of gardening: "Perhaps your garden space is just a sunny windowsill, a third floor balcony, a compact urban courtyard or half an acre of wilderness waiting to be tamed – it doesn’t matter, you’ll find gems here to help."
It will be a one-stop-shop for gardening knowledge. The series is hosted by horticulturalist, Chloe Thomson, and will feature many other "garden designers, landscapers, outdoor experts, growers and all-round plant people," according to the Staying Grounded website.
Gardening is more popular than ever, as people have been forced to remain home, their attention has been drawn to small-scale home improvements, as well as a reconnection to nature.
This will be one focus of Staying Grounded - slowing down and appreciating nature while still at home. Some other topics Chloe and her team will cover include caring for indoor plants, the best shade-friendly greenery for your space, how to create your own edible garden and so much more!
Chloe spoke to her love for gardening in a press release sent to Lifehacker Aus: "I love talking plants, it makes me so happy! I'm chatting with some incredible guests about all things gardening – from tools and tips to indoor plants and all your outdoor needs.
"This show will appeal to newbie gardeners and seasoned green thumbs alike, plus inspire you to get your hands dirty while Staying Grounded,”
