Google Home Is Here To Help You Around The House

The days of turning on your own TV are over!

Today, Google announced new products to essentially run your home for you.

The three new releases are called Google Assistant, Google Home and Google Allo.

Google Assistant is a virtual PA - helping you to buy event tickets, book restaurants and find your way around when you're lost.

Using Google Home, you can then hook the Assistant up to a system in your house and have it manage various electronic and virtual functions.

"With a simple voice command, you can ask Google Home to play a song, set a timer for the oven, check your flight, or turn on your lights," a Google Blog explained.

It's voice activated, so you can basically ask it to do anything for you. You may even just want to have a chat!

It will also be available in several different designs to fit seamlessly into your home.

The device is set to go on sale later this year.
