Decorating Small Spaces

In this episode of Color Splash, David Bromstad shares his decorating hints and tips for small spaces. The key is ensure you create a big impact, but not have it take over the small space.

1) Use the floor

Think of the floor as a fifth wall, on which you can hang art. A vibrant rug is the perfect way to make an impact.

2) Hang a statement chandelier

Choose a glamorous chandelier or statement drum shade to create visual impact without taking up precious floor space.

3) Choose sheer curtains

Sheer white curtains will add sophistication to the space, but above all, they’ll soften the lines of the room.

I love all the ideas but I dont have the money for any large changes, I had a back operation or I am going to have in April and all my money has gone on specialist tests etc.

I love the show and wonder where the people in America get all their money? I can get qite jealous but that is life.

I thought I would start with the small things I can afford, my home is very small a unit they call it in Australia,
Kitchen, lounge room, bathroom, bedroom.
