Coffee-infused sheets give new meaning to breakfast in bed

An Australian bedding company has found a groundbreaking way to avoid unneccessary waste from your coffee habit.

Tapping into the Aussie urbanite's love of the latte, bedding company Ettitude has come up with a stylish solution for discarded, ground coffee beans.

While you may have heard of coffee grounds as a gardening solution, Ettitude has a more stylish agenda: recycling the beans into linen

But why, you ask?

Not only does it reduce the waste from your caffeine addiction (sustainability: check!), but the gorgeous sheets claim to eliminate odours and prevent moisture build-up, ensuring they stay fresh for longer.

After raising more than $33,500 on Kickstarter (surpassing their goal of $30,000), the Ettitude coffee sheets are now available for pre-order.

They come in four colours - Latte (beige), Flat White (white), Strawberry Frappe (pink) and Mocha (brown) - and in Double, Queen and King sizes. Quilt covers and pillowcases are also available.

A sheet and two pillow cases will set you back $140, with early bird pricing currently listed at $125.
