Bunnings plant hack: woman shares $2 plant making hack and it's going viral

Cheap, cheerful and cute as can be!

A Bunnings shopper has shared the nifty way she made her very own woven plant pots.

Taking to Facebook page, Bunnings Mums Australia, shopper Sue Etherington posted a number of snaps, showing off her incredible handy work, which she said was inspired by a previous post on the page.

"Thanks to someone on this page who gave me the inspo to make my own pots out of Bunnings mats... Mats were $2.50 each," she began before detailing the simple method she used.

"For my pots I layed two mats flat and used twine to stitch one side together and decorated them with twine on one and some leftover jute ribbon with the other. Then wrapped the mats around the pot and used the twine to stitch the back together."

She literally sewed two mats together, binding them with a some twine string.

The end result was recieved well by fellow Bunnings shoppers, gaining more than 1000 likes and hundred of comments.

"Great idea... [They] look sooo good!" one wrote. "How clever are you they look amazing," another said.

"I would buy these if you sold them!" a third added.
