BBQ Table Dressing

Shannon uses the environment as her cue for decorating a BBQ table. Going for the beachy style, she chooses shells and sea grass and a coastal colour scheme of white and turquoise to transform the simplest of holiday table settings.

Turquoise resin plates and platters, and white and blue resin tumblers and glassware perfectly set-off Peter's BBQ menu. The table is dressed with a Mother of Pearl themed array of placemats, coasters, spoons and salt and pepper pots.

The pearlesque finish contrasts beautifully with the turquoise plates and bowls.

Scattered sea shells, scallop shells and frangipanis around the table, and candles for soft ambient lighting as the sun goes down, add to the overall tropical island feel.

Beaded blinds and matchstick blinds can be hung to hide less-attractive walls in holiday homes and makes the outdoor space cosy and comfortable.
