Airless Bedroom Makeover

If your bedroom gets little natural light and even less ventilation (especially if it's in an already damp space which creates an ideal environment for mould production), follow these steps.

1. Remove the furniture and treat the room for mould - use 1/4 teaspoon oil of cloves in 1 litre of water, mix in a spray bottle and spray mouldy spots.
2. Leave overnight then wipe away with a damp cloth.
3, Clean the window panes using a 50/50 solution of methylated spirits and water.
4. Re-position the furniture, moving the bed under the window for fresh air.

But only if you're American. Collectable is the spelling listed for the adjective by the Oxford English Dictionary and is standard spelling in British and Australian English. The dictionary observes that the "-ible" form has come to be the common spelling in the United States.
