No longer relegated to your Grandma's bedroom, wallpaper has become a modern and chic way to make a statement in your home. Here are the five wallpaper trends we're loving right now.
Whether by way of a bold feature wall or a fully-papered room, the right kind of wallpaper can work wonders.
While history has shown there are plenty of ways to do wallpaper wrong (we're looking at you, the 1970s), these trending patterns and styles will get you 'papering right.
Team raw timber floorboards and exposed lightbulbs with concrete-look wallpaper for a luxe take on the industrial trend.
"The industrial trend is my stand out," says Julia Hill, director at Luxe Walls. "I love the look of concrete balanced out with the warmth of timber."
Whether you opt for distressed or polished concrete or faux exposed brickwork, industrial-style wallpaper allows you to jump on this modern trend without the need for extensive building work.
We love seeing this classic trend, inspired by the work of botanist Charles Darwin, freshened up for modern homes.
“Our botanical print brings nature into the home," says Paula Taylor, Graham & Brown stylist and trends specialist. "It creates a tranquil space and reconnects us with the natural world and promotes ideas of growth."
Biophilia - design features which reconnect people with nature - is the new buzzword this season, according to Paula, and bringing the natural world into the home can have a positive calming effect.

"I really like bringing the outside in through botanical wallpaper," Julia says. "And with so many beautiful botanical and floral wallpapers to choose from, it's so easy to achieve."
Watercolours are a beautiful way to inject some soft colour into your home, making watercolour wallpaper a brilliant way of making a subtle statement.
We're seeing watercolours pop up more and more in interiors, due to the meditative qualities of the fluid colours and blurred lines, and Julia says her watercolour wallpapers are selling like hotcakes.
Choose whatever colour you please and line your walls with one of the prettiest wallpaper trends around.
“Geometrics are the big story next season and appear in some shape or form in all of our trend stories," says Paula.
We see this trend working at home as a feature wall in your living room, pared back with some mid-century furniture and a couple of framed monochrome artworks.
5. Bespoke and removable
Is there a photo, poem or painting you absolutely adore? Julia has created the option for customers to upload their own images to the Luxe Walls website and create their own personalised wallpaper.
And whether it's something you'll want to keep forever or just a passing obsession, the designs are printed on removable polyester wallpaper, making it easy to update when the time comes and taking the fear out of applying traditional wallpaper.
"If you get a bubble, crease or aren't happy with the positioning, simply peel it off the wall and start again," Julia says. "Bubbles can easily be wiped out with a clean, white cloth. Removing it is just as easy - just peel it off the wall."
