Decorate Easter eggs
Decorating eggs with paint is an easy and cost-friendly way to make personalised decorations for Easter.
Step 1) Place a selection of hard-boiled eggs on a sheet of newspaper, in a well-ventilated space.
Step 2) Use spray paint to add your choice of colour. Leave to dry, then adorn with a second coat in a complimentary colour. Try stripes with a watercolour brush, or use a toothbrush to flick paint onto them for speckles.
Step 3) Once completely dry, attach ribbons with PVA glue and hang them around your home.
Create an Easter basket
Organising an Easter egg hunt? Create a personalise basket for kids to gather their prizes in!
Step 1) You’ll need a simple wicker basket with a handle. Koch has a great selection.
Step 2) Fill the basket with green foliage from the garden.
Step 3) Loop colourful ribbon around the handle tying bows at both ends.
Create an Easter wreath
Make an Easter entrance by hanging a festive wreath. All you need is a straw wreath (available at Lincraft) , your choice of decorations and a hot glue gun.
Step 1) Keep it simple by sticking a simple bow (choose a colour to suit you!) to the base of the wreath with a glue gun. Or if you’re looking for something more cheery, you could stick different coloured plastic eggs to it.
Step 2) Once the glue is dry, fix guage wire to the top of the wreath. Hang it to your door or use it as an Easter table centrepiece.
