Former business partners Robert and Frank are a fabulously posh, eccentric and incredibly witty duo.
Both in their 70s, they have a cheeky, sharp and educated sense of humour.
Robert owns an exclusive fashion boutique in Sydney and through the years has designed clothes for the rich and famous including prime ministers' wives and TV personalities.
Frank is an urbanist and advises on urban spaces. He designed The Rocks market in Sydney and used to be an antiques and art dealer.
The pair met in the late 1970s. Frank was a client of Robert’s but the pair became friends and business partners, opening a couture fashion design company in Sydney together which ran for 6 years.
As a designer, Robert has appeared in Vogue, judged the Melbourne Cup’s best dressed and once worked with Princess Diana's team when she visited Australia.
Today, Frank often pops into Robert's shop to catch up and reminisce about the good old days of high-society parties, the ridiculous costumes they would wear, and the infamous people they mingled with.
Being older and wiser in their life experience, they have an eloquent way of explaining their views and opinions.
Robert often has particularly strong views on all aspects of life, from humorous complaints about wet leaves blocking the local drains to the 'seriously crooked outfits' of TV personalities.
