TV & radio presenter, horticulturalist, author, mother... Garden Angel
Linda Ross is a widely travelled garden broadcaster, writer, photographer and teacher. Having studied Landscape Architecture at University of NSW and then Horticulture, she received the Young Achiever of the Year from the Horticultural Media Association of Australia in 2007. She is the author of four books Sunsmart Waterwise Gardens, Design Your Garden, Frangipani, and has just released Gardens of the World.
Linda is the daughter of Australia’s favourite horticultural couple, Graham and Sandra Ross and was destined to follow in her parents’ footsteps. Having designed gardens in Sydney she went onto join Better Homes & Gardens as a horticultural researcher and then presenter. She also worked behind the scenes as the garden designer and project manager for the Australian version of Groundforce and presented on The Garden Gurus.
Linda regularly hosts the Garden Clinic radio show on 2GB, where she uses her experience and passion to encourage listeners to get out and get dirty! She also teaches Kitchen Gardening at Glenmore House inspiring gardeners to grow their own food.
Happily married to her surfer husband, Linda is renovating a miners shack on the beach, has a beautiful daughter called Melaleuca and a blue cattle dog called Indigo.
