Brett & Laurence

Brett and Laurence are removalists with an infectious dose of intelligence, wit and goofiness.

They're best mates who met on a shift at work one year ago - Laurence was Brett’s trainer and they bonded over a mutual appreciation of ACDC!

They know each other inside out. Laurence says: "When you're locked in a truck with someone for 9 hours, you'll eventually get to know all of their complex father and mother issues."

Originally from Wagga Wagga, Laurence is a metal-head with big hair and bigger opinions. Brett is a mullet-wearing West Australian big kid with a wicked sense of humour.

Laurence's love of music started when playing kettledrums in the school orchestra, and now he is a guitarist and singer in rock band Sordid Ordeal. At school, he had an obsession with history which has carried on into his adult life.

Brett grew up in the suburb of Forrest Fields in Perth and moved to Melbourne three years ago. His grandfather was born in Burma and was a Buddhist monk for a while.

Both are avid news consumers and are often found debating and arguing about the state of the nation, as they lift and haul furniture around the city.
