In the heart of Sydney’s west live the fun-loving Delpechitra family: dad Patrick, 53, mum Tracey, 53, eldest son Wendel, 30, daughter Vestal, 19, and youngest son Ethan, 15.
Patrick and Tracey are both from Sri Lanka and met not long after Tracey left school. 26-years-ago, they made the decision to move to Australia and have not looked back. Patrick works as a manager at the local RSL and Tracey manages the crazy life at home. Wendel is a teacher at the local Catholic boys' high school, first-year University student, Vestal, loves her dancing and Ethan is cricket mad - much like the rest of the family.
Despite the big age gap between the siblings, this is a tightknit family with a big sense of humour. When watching the television together they love chewing the fat over the latest reality television scandal, especially on My Kitchen Rules, Home & Away and The Bachelor Australia. They are also big fans of shows like X-Factor, especially Patrick who will jump any opportunity for a sing-along. Watching wildlife documentaries on National Geographic falls into family viewing, and of course, the cricket.
