Narrated by Jane Horrocks, Zoo Days is an entertaining wildlife series which follows the engaging characters, both animal and human, at two of Britain's largest zoos. With incredible behind-thescenes access at Chester and Colchester Zoos, the series features a variety of storylines and strong personalities, providing a mix of excitement, jeopardy and fun. Featuring close encounters with the scariest reptiles and cute baby monkeys, Zoo Days will reveal what happens in the everyday lives of the zoo keepers. As well as playing host to nearly two million visitors a year between them, both zoos are heavily committed to conservation and training. Chester Zoo – the biggest zoo in Britain – is building an intensive conservation program aimed at ensuring the survival of global animal species, while Colchester is the first ever UK zoo to have set up its own nature reserve in Africa, protecting endangered creatures in their natural habitat.

We are disappointed that Zoo Days appears to no longer be shown on Foxtel. We have really enjoyed the program and how the staff related to the animals so much that last month while in UK we visited the Colchester Zoo. It is disappointing that Foxtel has axed such a quality program.
Most disappointed that this shown has mysteriously disappeared mid series yesterday!! Love this show and quite frankly if it doesn't return I don't have any reason to continue my subscription to Foxtel!
Where did it go?
I love this show and it's great to see the excellent care taken of all the animals. All the keepers are totally dedicated to their animals and I like seeing their efforts to conserve endangered species.
I am absolutely besotted with this programme, the joys and sadness (losing the lion cub) go hand and hand with young animals being a RSPCA helper I have cried many a tear and laughed a lot. God certainly made some beautiful creatures to share our world. Thank you for letting us into the animal kingdom.

Love watching all animal shows, but watching your show today 19/11/2011 the young man hosing the birds said "it was for getting the to mate". Is this for these birds only? I have cockateil's lorakeets and eclectus parrots they all love baths or showers or we have a spray bottle. Whether its cool but mostly hot if we dont have water ready they will get in their water dish, so we try to have big water dishes in their cages.
