What's Good For You

Dr Andrew Rochford

Doctor Andrew Rochford joins the What's Good for You team as the resident medicine man and human guinea pig.

In his role on the new Nine series he has so far eaten fifteen kilos of carrots to see whether his eyesight improves, stung himself with bluebottles to test five different remedies and waxed one side of his body to see if the hair will grow back coarser and darker.

Rochford grew up on Sydney's Northern Beaches and attended St Augustine's College before going on to complete an undergraduate degree in medical science at Sydney University, followed by a post-graduate degree in medicine from which he graduated with honours in 2004.

Australian viewers were introduced to Andrew when he and then girlfriend Jamie took part in the second series of the reality renovation series The Block.

He currently lives in Brisbane and works as a surgical trainee at the Princess Alexandra hospital.

He counts skiing, sailing and swimming as some of his hobbies and also loves playing golf and basketball.
