In Undercover Boss, high flying executives leave the comfort of their offices in the sky to go on an undercover mission as entry-level employees in their own company. They spend a week working undercover in various areas of the company's operations, with a different job and, in most cases, a different location each day. Their aim is to discover what's not working in the business and while they’re rooting out problems, they’re also looking to find and reward hidden talent amongst their employees. At the end of the week the boss will surprise the company’s unsung heroes with pay rises, training, promotions – and life changing rewards.
I think it's a good thing for Bosses to be more in touch with their employees (Professional Level), alot of times they have no idea of what really goes on outside their office door, usually you have Deputy Directors,Co-ordinators, Supervisors/Team Leaders that are chomping at the bit to credit themselves for the Honest and Hardwork of others. The so-called lower ranks tend to be misrepresented by their seniors and get over-looked entirely. If it is possible for a Boss to get out there and witness the True Blue Slogga and have a Go themselves, I say Cheers
