To Buy or Not to Buy aims to take the strain out of house hunting and help buyers find the perfect property. Prospective buyers are shown around three properties specially chosen by property experts. Two of them follow the house buying requirements of the buyers, while the third – the wildcard – is a property that is completely different, but just might turn out to be the right place for them. At the end of each episode, the buyers are offered the opportunity to try before they buy, test-driving their preferred property before making the all-important decision as to whether or not they will proceed with the purchase.
