After 30 years on-air, This Old House, the No. one rated US home improvement series, still has audiences turning to America's favourite team of expert-hosts. Kevin O'Connor, master carpenter Norm Abram, general contractor Tom Silva, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey, and landscape contractor Roger Cook are a trusted and formidable source of expertise, along with wit, humour, and a great sense of mateship.
To help celebrate its 30th Anniversary, This Old House is giving back to the community where the show got its start in 1979: Boston, Massachusetts. Working alongside affordable housing non-profit Nuestra Comunidad, the crew will hammer out the complete renovation of a foreclosed 1870s Second Empire in Boston's Roxbury neighbourhood. Roxbury is part of the city’s “ground zero” when it comes to home foreclosures, a place where hundreds of families have lost their residences, which now stand empty and abandoned. But there’s still a lot of hope and possibility in neighbourhoods like Roxbury, so the city is selling some of the properties to Nuestra Comunidad and other organisations which work to renovate these properties into affordable housing. Once the job is done, the house's two units will be sold to two deserving area families.
This renovation will surely prove that 30 years later, This Old House is still up for a challenge.

This is a great show but these episodes are Repeats. When are we getting the new series?
