Pop singer Nick Lachey hosts The Sing Off, a brand new reality series where eight outstanding a cappella groups are put through their paces with a series of challenges designed to push their talents to the limit. Throughout the series the groups must arrange a popular song into a totally different style in front of a panel of celebrity judges that include Ben Folds (Ben Folds Five), Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men) and Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls). At the end of the series one group will walk away with instant fame and the grand prize, an Epic Records/Sony Music recording contract.
The most entertaining show of the year, I hope it comes back again. I'd love see previous seasons of the show as I just got hooked on the 2012 season.
